There are currently a total of 770 Manufactured Homes sites being managed,
expanded, converted or built in the Mid Coast Region:
68 at Darawank
149 at Manning Point
180 at Old Bar
372 at Hallidays point (including Red Head).
One of the criteria for approval of a Manufactured Homes Estate is a demonstrated need.
There are already 440 sites available in this immediate area.
Where is the demonstrated need for an additional 202 MHEs?
The Tallwoods development would make a total of 642 dwellings in this area alone.

Lots of them are available at Hallidays Point
There is a price range and there are some varied floor plans & numbers of bedrooms / bathrooms
What's it like living in a Manufactured Homes Estate?
It's not for everyone, but some MHE Communities are vibrant, with owners joining together to be community proud, not just house proud
Unfortunately there are other mixed MHE Communities that don't set the same standards
